3 tips to make a high protein and balanced pasta meal: ๐Ÿ

๐Ÿ‘‰ sneak in veg easily by choosing a tomato base sauce (add in canned tomatoes, onion & garlic in the sauce).
๐Ÿ‘‰add some beans or lentils to increase fibre and protein. Lentils mix really easily with mince and often you canโ€™t even notice them.
๐Ÿ‘‰ add a good protein source (eg lean mince, chicken or textured vegetable protein)

My favourite gnocchi recipe:
- 1 can mixed beans
- 500g gnocchi
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 700g passata
- 500g mushrooms
- 500g lean mince (or textured vegetable protein if youโ€™d like a veg protein option)
- Parmesan

This recipe usually makes me ~ 4-6 serves. It also makes for great meal prep as it freezes really well
