Virtual video or phone consultations are designed for people ready to take the next steps in their health. Using Medical Nutrition Therapy to define your health goals, discuss your health and create an evidence based plan to step towards your goal. These consultations are available for both Australian and International clients.

Virtual Nutrition plan
There are almost always bumps on the road when it comes to achieving health goals. This 4 week program is tailored to support your individual health goals. Including an initial appointment and weekly check ins. I’ve found this to be the most beneficial for clients with more challenging or long term health challenges.

What can I expect in the consultation?
discussing your history - health history, medications and supplements, blood test results and general health background.
clarifying goals - once defined what you're looking for, I think help shape the steps needed to get there.
Devising a Plan - together, we will construct steps towards your goal in practical, enjoyable and reachable ways. From talking about optimising nutrients, constructing balances meals and managing emotional eating.
Monitoring - Accountability helps to improve achieving goals and so during the appointment I will provide guidance as to the next steps forward.
What is the Cost?
Pricing is aimed for dietetic services to be accessible for as many people as possible. Please see information above for pricing of services.
Can I claim private health for dietitian services?
After the appointment, you will receive a receipt with item numbers that you can then submit to your private health. How much you get back will depend on your level of cover. You are welcome to contact your private health beforehand to check the amount rebated for dietitian services.
Can I claim Medicare for dietitian services?
Dietitian services are partially covered by Medicare if you obtain a GPMP careplan for chronic disease management (eg diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease). See more info on the online claiming process here: Medicare online account help. currently Medicare rebates cover ~$56 so you are still left out of pocket for the remainder of the fee. After your consult, you will receive an invoice which includes information needed for you to submit a medicare claim online through MyGov.
How long do appointments go for?
Initial appointments go for approximately 45 mins and follow ups approximately 30mins.
What should I prepare for my dietitian appointment?
It can be useful to have any recent blood test results or pathology alongside a list of current medications and supplements.
Some clients prefer to complete a food log prior to the appointment. You're welcome to do this if it will help you remember your food intake however it is not essential.
